All About Sizing

.

Another rainy day here has me loving these sweet photos from @5littlebirds_ & her joy with all the fall leaves! 🍂🎃 Isn't she a doll? And doesn't her Noli bonnet that’s part of the restock for Friday fit perfectly!? 😍 nothing makes me happier than a well fitting bonnet & I may be a BIT biased but I do think our fit is pretty darn good 👌🏻
.
I have added to the end slides on the post (swipe to see) measurements & diagrams of how to measure so those who need to check are able to! (not sure why I didn't think of doing this sooner... but you know - I'm still learning here 😆) Below I'll discuss a bit more about bonnet fit - our size ranges from NB to 2-4t & it’s always good to measure because our largest size fits ME! 🤣👇🏻

.
On our FAQs page you’ll find a list of measurements & sizes, as well as a very old video of me measuring Leia's head 😆 I need to redo it! But I love seeing her tiny baby hands eat those M&Ms 🤗 When measuring do note that the bonnet won't fit perfectly until your baby reaches the full measurements in that size. If you're wanting a ruffle brim I recommend sizing up as those styles fit about 1/4” smaller than our trimmed danish style bonnets. Also, do keep in mind that our bonnets do run a bit big (2-4t fits me!) so please be sure to measure!

One more thing to keep in mind is my bonnets are all made from different materials, the weave of linen, tightly woven cotton, rayon fabric all have different ways of fitting on the head, just like with clothing. If you have a bonnet now that you LOVE the fit, I recommend sticking with that type of fabric. You can see all of the fabrics I use in the IGTV I've posted Monday. Thinner ones fit snuggly to the head, stiffer (oftentimes embroidered) have more structure to them. It's all in what you like, what design you're going for & what purpose the bonnet is serving (warmth or just an accessory)
