Ruffle Brim Sizing

Good morning, guys! Give sweet Nova some love in her gorgeous strawberry eyelet bonnet - the colors pair so nicely with the collection we have for our restock this week! πŸ“πŸ’™πŸŒΏ We took the time to talk about overall bonnet sizing yesterday so I thought that since we have two eyelets/ruffles releasing on Friday we should chat about how our ruffle/eyelet brimmed bonnets fit - they're just a TAD bit smaller so measuring & making sure you pick the correct size is important! If you're interested in getting an eyelet/ruffle brim or ordering a custom ruffle this week, please keep reading ‡️
.
🌿 With all RUFFLE brims (not sun brimmed) you need to size up IF your baby measures close to the top of that size's measurements. Meaning this: Right now Leia measures at the top of the 12-18 months size (she is 5 years old) so if I were ordering a ruffled brim/eyelet brim I would buy an 18-24 to have it fit like the one you see here. If she measured over the 12-18 month size but nowhere near the top of the 18-24 measurements I could still get an 18-24. Because of the way these bonnets are made our pattern gets altered the slightest bit which affects the fit of the bonnet. They still fit great, you just need to be sure you buy the right size. (And newborn size is sized for a tiny FRESH new baby. πŸ‘ΆπŸ» if you have big babies, size up to a 0-3)
.
🌼 The ruffle brims are also reversible, just like the danish style cotton bonnets. If you're interested in seeing the linings I suggest you watch my latest IGTV, it's there that I show the linings to ALL the bonnets in each week's collection.
.
I love making the ruffle brims & they do tend to sell quickly so if your heart is set on one this week be sure to set an alarm for Friday at 6 pm EST. Thank you all for loving what I do so much, I have to pinch myself daily to remind myself that this job is in fact real, I still get to be here every day making these bonnets! πŸ€— Love & bonnets, guys❀️
