A lot of our bonnets are made from preloved clothing, curtains, donated material, and vintage fabrics. In the case of these buttercup bonnets, we have taken new materials & saved textiles from waste by only lining them with upcycled linens. This allows us to use beautiful new fabrics while still contributing to our mission which is to save textiles from waste whenever possible.
These bonnets all have an off-white cotton lining made from upcycled linens. If you would like a satin lining please respond. to your order confirmation email advising us of the change to your order

Please keep in mind that the bonnet pictured may not be the exact bonnet you receive. The embroidery, pattern, lace, and pattern may differ depending on where from the garment the bonnet was cut out from. Also, colors can change from one screen to the other. I try to photograph the bonnets in natural light and keep the colors as true as I can.
Measurements:
First measure from jawbone up around the head (above the forehead) and back down to the other side, then the second measurement from one temple to around the back of the head to the other temple.

If ordering an eyelet/ruffle brimmed bonnet I recommend sizing up as they fit a bit different
Satin Linings:
Any bonnet (excluding anything brimmed) can be lined with satin. After you’ve made your purchase you simply respond to your order confirmation within 24hrs telling us that you’d like to choose the option of a satin lining. Please note that it will add a one week turn around time and we may be in contact with you if the trim on your bonnet will change (depending on fabric availability)
