Get ready for the biggest changes I have ever made!

This time, it is REALLY happening!

Textiles have been a huge part of my life for over 30 years now. I still remember going fabric shopping with my mom, picking out those cute floral prints for the dresses I wore as a kid. One dress, in particular, stands out to me—the floral I chose for my 6th-grade graduation. I remember feeling like the most beautiful girl in the world that day!

Being a seamstress, I totally get how amazing it is to hunt for that perfect fabric that will bring a project to life. After years of working with vintage, donated, and upcycled materials, I’ve really developed an eye for patterns and what makes them special. Plus, I’ve become pretty good at putting together eye-catching color palettes. My journey into bonnet making has deepened my love for pattern design, and I’ve spent time studying my favorite designers to create gorgeous, whimsical surface patterns.

This next chapter with SAA is going to be a blast! I'm excited to offer my artwork on all sorts of products, from clothing to phone cases, and I’ll also have beautiful fabric and wallpaper made by a top-notch professional printer. Their quality and speed are just unbeatable.

You’ll continue to see the upcycled vintage items and stunning embroidery that you know and love at SAA, but now you can also shop my designs on fabric, wallpaper, merchandise, and more. I really dive into everything I do because I’ve learned that if you’re not 100% committed, things can go off course. I have this feeling that 2025 is going to be my year to "come back home" to what I truly wanted this business to be—a fun creative outlet for sharing my talents while supporting my family and being there for my kids as they grow up.
