    With so many bonnet styles to choose from, finding the right fit is one of the most important parts of the process. A well-fitting bonnet is not only more comfortable for your little one, but it also helps each style look just as it was intended. Taking a moment to choose the correct size will ensure your bonnet looks its very best on your sweet baby.

    Because my bonnets are created using a variety of materials, including upcycled textiles, carefully selected fabrics, and my own exclusive designs, fabric content can vary from one bonnet to the next. I’m committed to providing as much information as possible so you can make informed choices and know exactly what your bonnet is made from.

    Sweet As April has evolved quite a bit over the years. Today, I’m embracing a slower, more intentional approach by keeping things small, nurturing a close-knit community, and creating space to grow creatively and learn new skills. While the business may be smaller than it once was, my passion for creating beautiful, meaningful pieces has never been greater.

  • Customizations

    While I am no longer offering fully custom bonnets, I understand that some little ones have unique needs. Whenever possible, I’m happy to accommodate certain requests, such as adding a satin lining or making other simple adjustments. If you have a specific need in mind, please reach out before placing your order and I’ll let you know if it’s something I can accommodate.

  • Shipping & Turn Around Time

    Over the years, I’ve worked hard to simplify and streamline my process so that orders can move from my sewing room to your mailbox as efficiently as possible. While Sweet As April isn’t Amazon Prime, I take great pride in maintaining a quick turnaround time without sacrificing the care and attention that goes into each handmade bonnet.

  • Returns

    I want you to love your purchase. If for any reason you’re not completely satisfied, I’m happy to accept returns of unworn bonnets within 15 days of purchase. If there’s an issue with your order, please reach out and I’ll do my best to make it right. My goal is for every Sweet As April bonnet to be loved and cherished for years to come.

  • Hours of Operation

    Sweet As April business hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. While you’ll often find me working behind the scenes on evenings and weekends, I do my best to maintain regular business hours so I can balance both my work and family life. Messages received outside of business hours will be answered as soon as possible during the next business day.

  • Bonnet Care

    To keep your bonnet looking its best for years to come, I recommend hand washing in cool water and hanging to dry. Knit bonnets may be machine washed on a gentle cycle if needed, but should always be laid flat to dry. Because many Sweet As April bonnets feature delicate details and carefully chosen fabrics, gentle care will help preserve their beauty and shape for all of life’s little adventures.

  • Sleep & Carseat Safety

    Your little one’s safety is always the most important thing. Please use your best judgment and take all appropriate precautions when your child is wearing a bonnet. Sweet As April bonnets should never be worn while sleeping and are not recommended for use in car seats. Children should always be supervised while wearing any accessory. By purchasing and using a Sweet As April bonnet, you acknowledge that it is your responsibility to ensure the safe and appropriate use of the product.

  • Wholesale

    At this time, I am not offering wholesale opportunities. Sweet As April is currently focused on small-batch, handmade production, which allows me to maintain the quality and attention to detail that each piece deserves. As the business continues to grow and evolve into new creative avenues, wholesale may become a possibility in the future. If that changes, I’ll be sure to share the news with my community.

  • Immediate issues with your order

    If you need to cancel your order or make changes to your shipping address, please contact me within 12 hours of placing your order. Because many items begin moving through my production process shortly after purchase, I cannot guarantee that changes can be made after that time. Reaching out as soon as possible gives me the best chance of accommodating your request.

  • Lost Package or Incorrect Address

    I understand that mistakes happen. Life gets busy, details get overlooked, and sometimes things simply don’t go as planned. As a small business, I always do my best to work with you whenever possible and find a solution that feels fair for everyone. While there are some situations that may be outside of my control, I’m always happy to help however I can.
