At Sweet As April, I’ve always prioritized sustainable practices - from minimal packaging to my love for upcycling - and I’m so excited to now extend those same values into my own line of fabric, produced using eco-friendly printing methods. I care deeply about preserving our planet for future generations, and I know that excess water usage puts a huge strain on Mother Nature. That’s why I chose to work with a company committed to eliminating the nearly 20 gallons of water that overseas printers use to produce just one yard of textiles.
In addition to conserving water, my exclusive designs are printed with Oeko-Tex 100-certified, biodegradable inks - meaning you won’t find any harsh chemicals in the fabric used to create my fabric, wallpaper & bonnets. Whenever possible, my fabrics are sourced within the U.S., and if they can’t be sourced directly, they come from U.S.-based vendors to help reduce the emissions involved in production and shipping.
I’m proud of the work I do at Sweet As April to stay as eco-conscious as possible. I’m always learning and looking for new ways to reduce waste, minimize my impact on the environment, and create something that’s not only beautiful but sustainable too. Feel free to get in touch any time with any questions or concerns you may have.
