At Sweet As April, we've always prioritized sustainable practices - from our minimal packaging & our love for upcycling - we're excited to now include those same values with our own line of fabric that is produced by using eco-friendly printing processes. We understand the importance of preserving our planet for future generations & excess water usage is a huge strain on Mother Nature. That's why we chose to work with a company that has committed to eliminating from their printing process the nearly 20 gallons of water that overseas printers use to print just ONE YARD of textiles.
In addition to not using water to produce the fabric, our exclusive designs are printed with inks that are Oeko-Tex 100-certified & biodegradable. You won't find any harsh chemicals in the fabric we use to make our Shop Exclusive Collection. Furthermore, along with the majority of fabrics in our collections, our Shop Exclusive Collection's fabric is sourced from the US. If it cannot be sourced directly in the states it's from US vendors - this greatly reduces the amount of emissions used to bring you our beautiful fabric designs.
We're really proud of the work we do here at SAA to be as eco-conscious as we can. We're always looking for other ways to reduce waste, minimize the effect on the environment around us & bring you a product that's not only beautiful but striving to be sustainable as well.
