I have been amazed at Sweet As April's growth over the past seven years. The support from customers, friends, and family has been overwhelming. It has been such a rewarding journey, I am so thankful that I can continue doing what I love while caring for my two older children, Elliot who has autism & Leia who is severely delayed. I am passionate about spreading awareness about autism as well as Leia's special needs - early intervention is so important.
I started this business so I could do just that - support my family in whatever way that needed. Now, having our 10-month-old baby, Lily, with me at work I have realized how crucial the organization of this business is.

We have made over 20,000 bonnets (probably closer to 30,000 now!) & have sent them off "into the wild" to live their lives covering the tiny noggins of your beautiful children. It has been an absolute pleasure to watch us grow together, and I'm proud of how far we have come. I'm so grateful for the amazing support I've received from all of you, and it has been an honor to be part of everyone's journey.
