Threads of Spring - Blooming Anyway
There is something poetic about releasing a spring collection while the world outside is still covered in snow.

Threads of Spring was created in the middle of chaos - snowstorms swirling outside the windows, an unexpected ER visit, sickness making its way through our home, and big decisions unfolding about Lily’s schooling. The kind of weeks that remind you just how quickly life can pivot.
And yet… things continue to bloom here.

Handpainted & Exclusive Prints
This season’s hand-painted and exclusive prints feel especially meaningful. Many of them began as tiny original paintings - small heirloom minis created during quiet pockets of time. Some were designs I was so proud of, only to watch them sit unsold for a while. Instead of letting that discourage me, I gathered them up and gave them new life.
Florals were rearranged. Colors layered. Tiny brushstrokes transformed into repeating patterns. What started as individual pieces of art became cohesive textiles, now brought to life on organic knits and heirloom bonnets.

There is something deeply satisfying about seeing your artwork evolve - from paper, to pattern, to fabric, to something a child will wear on spring adventures.
Even in weeks that felt overwhelming, painting remained steady. A grounding place. Proof that creativity does not disappear just because life feels heavy.
Wovens, Upcycles & Bunny Bonnets
If the painting was about fresh blooms, these bonnets are about digging through roots.
I pulled out long-held bins of vintage embroidery, woven textiles I’ve saved for years, and fabrics that felt too special to cut into until the right moment arrived. This felt like that moment.

There is a quiet magic in upcycling. In taking something made decades ago and carefully stitching it into something new. These woven bonnets carry history in their threads. They are layered with time, patience, and intention.
The bunny bonnets have returned, too - playful, nostalgic, and full of spring energy. They feel like a bridge between the past and the present. Whimsy stitched onto heirloom silhouettes.
This portion of the collection feels textured, storied, and deeply personal. It reflects why I began sewing in the first place - not to produce in mass, but to create pieces that feel loved before they ever leave my studio.

Blooming Through It All
Behind this brand, it’s still just me - balancing motherhood, therapies, homeschooling, painting, sewing, and admin in the same breath. There are no departments to pass tasks to when life gets loud. No teams waiting in the wings.
But there is also family. There is resilience. There is creativity that keeps pushing through, even during blizzards.

Threads of Spring may not be as large as I once envisioned. There were ideas that had to wait. Plans that were adjusted. But I am so proud of what bloomed anyway.
Because that’s what this season has taught me: blooming does not require perfect conditions. It happens in snowstorms. It happens in uncertainty. It happens in small studios with coffee growing cold beside a sewing machine.
Thank you for being here for it. For supporting a brand that stays small on purpose. For loving handpainted florals, vintage textures, bunny ears, and heirloom stitches.
Spring is coming - in more ways than one.

Below you’ll find a preview gallery of Threads of Spring. Take your time scrolling through the hand-painted prints, the woven upcycles, and all the little details stitched into this collection. I hope you find something that feels like it was made just for you.
Love, bonnets, and watercolors.
