I love working this way because it allows each piece to carry the energy of that moment. You can feel it in the brushwork, the color choices, the little decisions that only happen when an artist is fully in the zone. 🎨

About this series - My First Garden
I have been painting for as long as I can remember. Watercolor, gouache, florals, little worlds built one brushstroke at a time. And for most of that time, those paintings have ended up tucked away in a folder, stacked in a drawer, seen by almost no one.
This series is my decision to change that.
My First Garden was painted during one of those quiet, focused sessions where everything else falls away and it is just me, my brushes, and whatever is blooming in my imagination that day. Painting is my escape. It is where I go when the noise gets too loud, and I need to find myself again. And for the first time, I really want that escape to belong to someone else too.
I want these paintings to live on your walls, sit on your shelves, and become a part of the backdrop of your everyday life. I want you to walk past one on a Tuesday morning and feel something. That is what art is supposed to do, and that is what I am finally ready to let mine do.
